Welcome to Abbotsford United Soccer Club’s 2026/27 Fall Season!
AUSC proudly offers soccer programming for ages U4 to Adult, including youth development programs and senior men’s and women’s teams.

As a Canada Soccer and BC Soccer-recognized member club, AUSC is committed to delivering a high-quality soccer experience that focuses on skill development, community, and fun at every age level.

All of our programming is designed in alignment with the Canadian Soccer Association’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD): Wellness to World Cup model — ensuring age-appropriate coaching, training, and game formats that support lifelong involvement in the sport.

⚽ Weekly Schedule:

U4-U6 Boys/Girls: Mon & Wed | 5:00–5:50 PM

📍 Location:
All training and games take place at MRC Turf #3 (Matsqui Recreation Centre)

🎉 About the Program:
The Lil Dribblers program introduces kids to the sport of soccer in a fun, engaging way! With a focus on movement, teamwork, and basic skills like dribbling, kicking, and control—our youngest athletes are set up for success on and off the field.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parent Participation Required – Be part of the fun and help your child learn the basics alongside our coaches.

Skill development + league play

End Date: Wednesday, February 24th, 2027
Location: MRC Turf #3

⚽ Weekly Schedule:
Training 2x per Week + Saturday Games at 8 AM MRC Turf #3

BOYS:

- - U7/U8 (2019/2018): Monday & Wednesday – 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM
  - U9 (2017): Tuesday & Thursday – 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM
  - U10 (2016): Tuesday & Thursday – 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM

GIRLS:

- - U7–U10 (2019–2016): Tuesday & Thursday – 5:00 PM to 5:50 PM

Game Day: Saturdays at MRC Turf #3 (8 am due field availability for u7s)

* U8 to U10 will have inter lock games on Saturdays with other local clubs or in BCCSL
All games are outdoors

🔄 Team Formation Process:
Teams are formed through AUSC’s Long-Term Player Development (LTPD) Pathway based on:

Previous season rosters & evaluations
New player assessments
Coach & staff recommendations

Players are initially grouped with volunteer coaches, and then assigned to official teams.

🎯 Program Focus – “FUN WITH THE BALL”
At this stage, individual development takes center stage! Coaches create a fun, high-energy learning environment that helps players grow their skills while enjoying the game.

Focus Areas Include:

Ball control & receiving
Dribbling, passing (under 25m), and shooting
Game intelligence & decision-making
Freedom and creativity with the ball

Competitive development pathway

Cost: $575
Duration: 25 weeks (Sept 7th – Feb 25th)

Certified coaches for all sessions

Program Includes

2 practices per week
Saturday league games (BCCSL League)

Note: Division 1 & Division 2 teams may have an additional coaching fee.

AUSC Player Development Program (PDP)

The Abbotsford United Soccer Club Player Development Program (PDP) is designed for motivated players looking to accelerate their technical development in a focused training environment. This supplemental training program provides additional touches on the ball, advanced skill development, and age-appropriate coaching to help players reach their full potential.

Led by experienced AUSC technical staff, sessions emphasize:

Ball mastery and technical skills
Passing and receiving
Dribbling and 1v1 play
Speed of play and decision making
Small-sided games
Confidence and creativity on the ball

Program Details

Location: MRC Turf #3

U8–U10 (2019-2017)

Fridays: 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM

U11–U14 (2016-2013)

Fridays: 6:45 PM – 7:45 PM

Program Dates:

Fall Session: September 18 – November 27
Winter Session: January 8 – February 19

Total Sessions: 18

Cost: $275

The PDP is open to players who are committed to improving their skills and gaining additional training opportunities beyond their regular team sessions. Spaces are limited to ensure a quality learning environment and maximize player development.
